The 10 Coolest Jobs for World Language Speakers

Salut mes enfants! J'espère que vous avez passé de bonnes vacances de Pâques.

One of my friends sent me this awesome article about the ten "coolest" jobs you can get if you know a world language (the article says foreign language, but that's too English-centric for me).  Read this article - it's really neat! Below are some of the benefits of learning French, in addition to some of the fields you can go into if you learn a world language other than English.

So even if you hate to conjugate verbs, remember! - it will help you in the long run!

Adding hyperlinks to your blog posts

Salut mes enfants!  There is a simple way to add links to your blog posts that looks nice and doesn't involve copying and pasting an entire link from a blog post into a browser.

First, type out a few words in the body of your post and highlight them. These will be the words you use to create a hyperlink.  It will look like this:

Next, go to the website you want to link to and copy the URL from the browser.
After that, go back to your blog post and hit the Link button at the top:

A box will pop up that looks like this:

The highlighted text should be in the "Text to display" box.  Copy and paste the URL into the "Web address box".  Et voilà! You now have a gorgeous hyperlink that will look something like this:

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.  I prefer this in lieu of copying and pasting; I think it's easier and looks nicer.

Allons-y!

The tenth Doctor thinks this is a good idea.

Des choses amusantes!

MES PETITS ANGES!  I came across two things that I found amusing.  Hopefully you'll think they're neato too!

French Speakers Hilariously Discuss What French T-Shirts Actually Say

Here is what Marie and Amaury had to say about that:
Amaury: If you are gonna wear a T-shirt with a message all day, make sure you understand what it says first.
Marie: And French people judge you.
Amaury: Totally.
Marie: If you want to look cool in France, embrace your American coolness.

I think this quiz is a little biased because it seems that everyone got the same response, but whatever. Take it anyway. It's fun.

This is one happy dog.
